Wardrobe Maximization anyone? Some of you might know I preach Wardrobe maximization all the damn time – maybe that’s one of the reasons I didn’t go all out shopping while pregnant (of course besides the fact that I needed my old clothes to give me the motivation to shed off the extra pounds and fit in them again – I must admit this has worked wonders for me). I live for pieces I can play with and style a million different times.
Well….this olive green dress hasn’t yet fully served the wardrobe maximization purpose but at least I got to wear it at different occasions where my body was the complete opposite at both these times. About a week before I had my SonShine, I went on a shopping spree as I knew once I had Ehan, I won’t have the time and energy to roam around the mall with a new born. And that’s when I came across this gorgeous piece (I still believe I have an eye for strange pieces) – you will not believe I wore this dress for the next few days until I had my SonShine. For a ready to pop Chicago, the comfort that came with this dress was perfect for my bulging tummy and Thank God for the amazing weather in Atlanta in January.
Olive green is such a trendy color lately and you just gotta love it. This dress falls under my “no Hassle” outfits list as it’s super easy to style – need I mention how comfortable it is? I don’t think so. I wore it with a black bralette (which I am absolutely obsessed with) for the perfect detail and contrast, paired with the low black blocks (I think these are so different and stylish 😁) and I was comfy chic to get on with my busy Saturday. From work, to errands and lunch, and to drinks later in the evening with my girl Bella – this dress serves all purposes perfectly. And the low block heels were comfy perfect for my busy day.
