My Palazzo Craze

Guess who’s a year wiser? Me! Its been an amazing weekend and I must admit this hasn’t been as exhausting as my last birthdays – I managed to make better decisions this time round because exhaustion makes me unhappy and nothing is coming between me and my happiness. Don’t you think that’s the wisdom in me? However somethings have not changed, like my love for neutral dark colors and my almost one year old obsession with comfortable shoes.

Some of the things you can’t get wrong is monochrome. The easiest way to quickly “class up” your look is to just throw on one color of clothing, and this navy blue combo was perfect for my Wednesday – from early mornings at work (wearing these Bata blocks as I knew I would be moving 90% of the time and I didn’t need worry about discomfort) to an evening out with the girls as I celebrate my favorite month, November. Firstly, I must admit how exciting it was for me to fit into this crop top again (I am proud of my progress the past month), secondly – who is not loving the wide legged / palazzo pants? I am sold, and these three quarter ones are giving me Life. Another plus is the fact that these pants conceal that postpartum stomach that some of us mommas struggle with.

Y’all know how obsessed I am with hassle free outfits (sometimes a girl is just not in the mood to think about what to wear), this is definitely one of them and these Bata blocks just make life much easier.
