Hello My Beautiful People, Hope your week was off to a good start. I would like to start off by saying “Never Judge A Book By Its Cover”. i used to have all these insane thoughts up in my head that skater skirts were for only the skinny girls (and when i say skinny i mean Kate Moss skinny) so i never ever looked in the direction of any skater skirt until a good friend of mine bought me one from her trip to South Africa. Ooh and she didn’t mention the skirt being skater just that it was leather, that got me super duper excited. To be honest when i got this skirt i was sure there was no way i would ever wear it but to my surprise i rocked it and i loved it. As i had promised from one of my previous posts that i will be bringing you recreations and details of outfits from the shoot exactly how i wore them, and here we are on recreation number two.
So i wore this outfit on a girls’ night out to the club- only place i could wear something that length LOL (it just happened to be one of those abrupt girls’ nights out with no planned outfit). I paired the skirt with a white one shoulder top, black clutch, tear drop earrings, a simple silver bracelet, silver watch and black stiletto platforms (these are super high but super comfy). I kept my hair up in a bun – of course. I loved this outfit so much that i ended up buying another skater skirt from Jumia and i will be bringing you details of how I styled it soon.
