Hope y’all are doing great and had an amazing weekend. Mine was quite eventful with Eid on Thursday switching on the weekend mode on Wednesday evening. I was looking forward to my first ever Blankets and Wines event which unfortunately i could’t attend but caught all the action on Snap chat. Don’t we all love Snap chat?
Is it just me but when i know Eid or any other special day is around the corner, the first thing on my mind is ”find an outfit”. Am sure am not the only one guilty of this. I can’t count blue amongst my favorite colors but there’s definitely something about this dress. I bought this dress over three months ago – and honestly it wasn’t my usual love at first sight situations. I just happened to be in need of long dresses and didn’t find as many options as i had expected, so i went with this just so i don’t go home empty handed. But am telling you when i wore this dress – i fell for it and trust me it was deep.
The simple bead details on this dress were perfect for my special day. A little pop of sparkle if you know what am saying.
Lately Kampala has been pretty hot making this dress with light chiffon long sleeves the perfect fit for Eid which I paired with a maroon scarf – also very light material and accessorized it with a pearls head band. Would it be a complete outfit without a pair of heels? I don’t think so. For this look i went with a pair of black and white pointed toes (y’all know my i got mad love for pointed toe heels).
For some reason which I failed to figure out, I relate the color blue to royalty – cliche right? This Eid got me feeling like a Royal. Ooooh and i finally got the guts to walk out of the house with a brown lippie – this is so out of my red lip comfort zone. Yaaay Me!!
