Looks like November was ”Jumpsuit Month”, for some reason i wore jumpsuits to all the occasions this month and this wasn’t planned. Need i mention why i love this one? No? Looks like y’all know the way to my heart is some good ol’ neutrals.
This is such an old piece which i have had for about five years now and just happened to wear it once two years ago. When i tell you i know classic pieces when i see them, please believe me – explains why i held onto this ”bad boy” for this long. I did some altering to the jumpsuit this time round (that moment when you realize that long flowy one arm was just not working anymore), and waaallllaaa – it came out much better than i had anticipated after a ten minute rant with the seamstress who claimed i would completely ruin it if i altered it. I wonder why seamstresses and hairstylists never listen.
The jumpsuit was a last minute decision for my birthday which blended pretty well with the ”All Black”theme the organizers settled on.
I saw no need for a chain but am a sucker for accessories so i had to incorporate them into the fit. The golden head piece or should i say chain, was the best idea for the evening as it got me feeling like the princess i was supposed to be on my big day. The black and gold belt – which is also a chain (Get Creative Or Die Trying) accentuated my waist just a little bit. The tear drop earrings and white and gold heels where the icing to this goodness of an outfit. For a second, strip all the accessories off this jumpsuit? What do you see? As i always say Accessories have so much power.
